Deploying AppBar involves three steps. Follow each guide below to get AppBar up and running across your estate.

Deploy a Notifications Configuration Profile

Approve com.zappl.AppBar notifications via a configuration profile so that AppBar can notify users of available updates, completed installs, and any failures.

Download and deploy this profile via your MDM to enable AppBar notifications.

Deploy an AppBar Preferences Configuration Profile

Use the AppBar Preferences guide to customise AppBar’s appearance and behaviour via the com.zappl.AppBar preference domain before deploying to your users.

AppBar Preferences JSON Schema

Download the JSON Schema to configure AppBar preferences in Jamf Pro or your MDM of choice.

Deploy the AppBar Installer

Push the AppBar installer package to your fleet via your MDM to complete the deployment.
The AppBar installer is not yet publicly available. Existing customers who would like to trial AppBar during the beta period can request access.
All three steps are required for a complete AppBar deployment. We recommend deploying the notifications and preferences configuration profiles before pushing the installer, so that AppBar is fully configured when it first launches on a device.
