# Introduction

**Zappl is a comprehensive patch management solution written in Swift designed to provide automated updates for third-party applications across your macOS estate.**

## The Agent

> The product includes an agent, developed in Swift, that seamlessly manages automatic application updates, and a reporting portal that offers full visibility into the compliance levels across your entire estate.
