# Requirements

> Before Zappl is deployed in your estate, several requirements must be met to ensure a seamless and successful deployment.

    <Check>Zappl requires macOS Sonoma (macOS 14) or later to run.</Check>

  <Step title="Network Requirements">
    <Check>Zappl requires outbound network access to the `zappl.co` domain using port `443` (HTTPS).</Check>

    <Warning>Additionally, any software vendor’s public download URLs must be accessible.</Warning>

  <Step title="Mobile Device Management (MDM)">
    <Check>Zappl needs to be deployed and configured using a suitable MDM platform.</Check>

    > Zappl integrates with most leading MDM solutions on the market. To get the most out of Zappl, ensure your MDM has the ability to send commands and/or scripts to computers. *Jamf Pro* and *Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune)* are two examples of MDMs which support this functionality.
